With over 10 years of agency experience demonstrating strategic thinking and hands-on creative expertise, Blair is a solutions-and-results-oriented Creative Director who pushes for the best possible outcomes for her clients while keeping agency and project objectives in mind. She thinks strategically and implements tactical changes that evolve the business and the person, easily building trust and rapport with clients, vendors, and teammates.
As the creative lead for two industry groups within Schaefer Advertising (Attractions, Tourism, and the Arts as well as Real Estate Development) Blair plays a pivotal role in business development and serves as the key creative advisor to her clients. She possesses a strategic understanding of client business objectives and collaborates with account leads to develop holistic marketing plans. Blair’s commendable communication skills are regularly displayed through persuasive presentations and compelling pitches for both client work and driving new business development.
Blair is also a detail-oriented and accountable Creative Director with demonstrated success in a dynamic work environment. Her ability to grasp new concepts quickly enables her to apply her strong analytical skills to a variety of business objectives to achieve measurable results. Throughout her daily efforts, Blair seeks to establish best practices and streamline processes that lead to efficiency, as demonstrated by her instrumental role in evolving and implementing Schaefer Advertising’s creative workflow and the successful onboarding of an online proofing system.
Blair possesses a strong foundation as a leader from her time in personalized executive coaching, managing the intern program, and years of growing the business and teams at Schaefer Advertising. Those experiences enable her to create an atmosphere to inspire, motivate, and mentor other leaders to reach their full potential. Blair has a proven ability to build, manage, and motivate high-functioning teams to deliver quality creative and marketing solutions that meet business objectives and delight clients. She is a firm believer that little things make a difference and that you can create a great environment with proactive communication one step at a time.
Outside of work, Blair actively mentors and educates budding designers, volunteering at local universities for guest lectures and portfolio reviews. Her expertise led to invitations to teach in a Visiting Designer's class at her alma mater TCU, where she led students through a real-world assignment and shared her insights and expertise over several weeks. Committed to guiding young talent, she invests her time in guiding and mentoring the next generation.
